To be able to chain referrals returned by a generic backend, the chain
overlay needs to avoid addition of those operational attributes that are
generated by the frontend, which, if requested, are supposed to be already
present in the entries returned as a consequence of the referral chasing.

When accessing entries that are generated by the frontend, like the
rootDSE, the subschema and so, it does exactly the same, although they are
not the result of referral chasing.

There is no straightforward fix.
