Without knowing why it crashed, you're unlikely to solve anything. First 
you must examine the testrun/slapd.1.log file. Since test008 in 2.3.11 
passes on other platforms, this is likely an AIX process size limit 
issue. Upgrading to 2.3.17 is of course a good idea, but completely 
irrelevant to this ITS and most likely will not fix the problem.
