(ITS#4235) Master crashes upon replica's serach request

I promoted my stand alone server to master with one replica.
Upon the first serach request from the replica the master crashes with the
following error :

Nov 30 15:48:13 annu-load-ibm-w1 slapd[5284]: slap_global_control: unavailable
control: 1.3.6.1.4.1.4203.1.9.1.1

I see in the network traces that the replica's request includes that LDAP
control :

                Control OID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.4203.1.9.1.1
                Control Value: 300C0A010304077269643D3137340000

Is it normal ?
