Seems to work fine here; I just added test044 to HEAD (with a small fix
to the code that is required by the test but does not affect your case).

Do by chance all employeeNumber have the same value?  In that case,
dynlist does a merge and eliminates duplicates.  In any case I don't see
a bug; I suggest you discuss your case on openldap-software.
