Replica statements in slapd.conf are of the form

# Replication information for slave servers
replica uri=ldap://ldap1.cune.pri
  binddn="abc"
  bindmethod=simple
  credentials=xyz

slapd.d was built with slaptest -f slapd.conf -F slapd.d.
Using slapwhatever -f slapd.conf works fine.
