Agree.  I was just noting that the messages you indicate are those that,
even in absence of problems, are logged at LDAP_DEBUG_ANY level.  I should
carefully read the log code (I hate reading macros, though), but I presume
there might be some stuff there that sends messages to a broader audience
if the level is ANY.
