2.2.8 --enable-x-compile problem

Hi!

I have a "little" problem.
I use this configure line:
./configure --prefix=/opt/xmingw/ --host=i386-mingw32 --build=i386-mingw32 
- --target=i386-mingw32 --enable-x-compile

after that the configure script return this:
configure: warning: programs compiled here do not run here...
configure: error:   if cross compiling,  add --enable-x-compile.

I try the 2.1.x version because in here the winsock testing is bad:
