I would like to suggest developing an HTTP or SOAP backend for OpenLDAP.  I
currently have a rather complex intranet-based web service which contains
information I would like to have in my LDAP directory.  I will probably use the
shell, perl, or sql backend for this, however I am using Java/Tomcat for the web
service and I would like to keep all programming in that environment for
organizational sake.
