You probably need to set an idletimeout. See the slapd.conf(5) manpage. This
does not sound like a bug in OpenLDAP; this ITS will be closed.

If you have any other problems, upgrade to a current release before
proceeding further. 2.1.27 or 2.2.6 would be good choices.
