OpenLDAP 2.2.4 segfaults (ITS#2901)

Using OpenLDAP 2.2.4 and db-4.2.25, compiled with TLS, crypt passwords enabled.

performing a search like this on the directory will cause it to segfault:

% ldapsearch -H ldaps://host:port/ -b dc=domain,dc=com -W -x
-D'uid=user,dc=domain,dc=com' '(uid=**)'

I was able to reproduce this with a database with 3000 entries as well as an
empty database. Couldn't get any useful GDB output even from the non-stripped
slapd binary. Mailers such as Mozilla will cause this sort of crash is '*' is
entered in the search field to query the LDAP directory.

Not a huge issue but though you would like know.
