How to determine the openldap version (ITS#2807)

I am responsible for maintaining the current inventory of software installed at
my company.  After many days of reasearch I have not been able to develop a
reliable method (works on mulitple versions) for determining the version of
openldap that is installed.  

I have an enhancement request.  For future releases please add a -VV paramater
to slapd and slurpd that will return the version.  (Similar to the -VV parameter
for newer versions of ldapsearch and other client tools)
