Openldap Developers'

I am constucting a simple LDAP implementation with simple look ups of

Name
Phone Number
E-Mail Address
Title

We want to search from a Netscape of Explorer Browsers since loading a ldap
client on several units in not feasible.

I can add the cn=Manager record without the mail attribute OK.

I do not have a slapd.at.conf or slapd.oc.conf

When I try to ldapadd a ldif file with the attrbutes

mail:

title:

I receive an error Object Class Violation; attribute not allowed

Is there a standard set of defualt attributes or should I add

mail

title

to the slapd.at.conf file ? The iPlanet 4.12 Directory Server seems to be

browser ready.

Thanks,
