The LDAP session handle is now opaque.   The 2.0 API was updated
to the latest (draft) IETF LDAP C API and no longer is consistent
with RFC 1823.  A copy of the API draft, which is available in
doc/drafts, is your best reference as the majority of the section
3 manual pages have yet to updated.
