You are true, it was modified with a <CR> at the end !
( what you saw as a <SPACE> )
 I found it out with normal ldapsearch and piped it into a file !

( I put an followup on the web page 10 min. later, with this input but did not
see it , I have to check the howto of the issue tracking system ...)

Why is there a double "::"  ?
with the LDIF output !
