The U-Mich guide is for U-Mich 3.3, not OpenLDAP 1.2.3.
Though some sections are still useful in regards to configuring
and using OpenLDAP, signficant portions do not apply to OpenLDAP.

Please use the 'INSTALL' document.

NOTE: we have an effort underway to provide a new guide.
Volunteers are needed and encourged to contact
