Re: [ldapext] Description of UUIDs? (draft-zeilenga-ldap-uuid-00)
draft-mealling-uuid-urn is under active discussion among
members of the URI review list and may soon move to
the URI main list for further discussion. This was partly
because of the existence of a competing draft
(draft-kindel-uuid-uri) and partly because of some
corrections needed in its handling of MAC-based
addresses.
I understand you intend only an informative reference, but
please be very careful to observe that this a work in progress
when moving forward based on these drafts.
