Re: Controls in Response messages?
It is acceptable for a server to return controls to clients. Some extensions,
such as for paging, require it. What the client does is up to the client -
it is 'internal' as it doesn't trigger a response to the server and so isn't
called out in 2251, other than the criticality flag. A noncritical
unrecognized control is ignorable.
