Paul has run two pre-release drafts of the Digest-SASL mechanism by me,
and I've implemented his most recent pre-release draft as a proof of
concept (and to generate some proper examples).  I think we're close to
done.  Part of the delay is my fault as I'm sometimes a bit too picky when
reviewing drafts and I've been trying to make sure all the details (e.g.,
charsets and such) are ironed out.
