RE: When to not deref aliases



Well, I don't think we can do that for v3. I'm just trying to get clarification on whether we should explicitly state that alias dereferencing does not happen for those three op's.

Surely, we wouldn't dereference an alias for ModifyDNRequest but we would
for the other two. Probably, CompareRequest should have a deref boolean in
the definition.

Some operations in RFC 2251 explicitly say to not dereference aliases while
resolving the name (ModifyRequest, AddRequest, DelRequest) while others
don't (BindRequest, ModifyDNRequest, CompareRequest). Should we add similar
language to the latter three?
