Full_Name: David M Walker Version: 1.2 OS: Linux URL: Submission from: (NULL) (193.237.9.97) Further to issue ITS/56 I am a new user, setting up OpenLDAP on our server because we use Netscape 4.5 clients everywhere with roaming users and it support LDAP so this would make sense. I have found various references to LDAP admin guide (including ITS/56) but can't find it, furthermore I could really use the beginners guide to configuring LDAP Does this exist, or is there an alternative source for this sort of information I am more than willing to RTFM but I can't find it ? rgds davidw

While not covering the configuration of OpenLDAP, IBM has published a decent Redbook called `Understanding LDAP' : http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/pdfs/redbooks/sg244986.pdf Someone with access to the OpenLDAP web pages might want to add it to the LDAP information page ? > davidw -oddbjørn ______________________________________________________________________ http://www.tricknology.org/
