I want try replication between linux and solaris.

I install master slapd on solaris
I install slave on linux

I copy NEXTID and *.dbb on slave

I execute master, slave and slurp.

Linux don't read the dbb make with solaris, when i execute ldap slave with
debug mode, he indicate multiple error when he read the differentes index of
the db (not found index ...)

The index created by solaris are incompatible with linux ?

When i try to add my LDAP master, slurp crash slapd on solaris and linux...

I try the same configuration with two server Linux, is work without problem !

The raw database files are generally not portable between
heterogeneous systems. You should create a slave database
using LDIF output from the master.
