Description June 2000-07-04 05:46:59 UTC
Dear Madam/Sir,
I have one thing need your help. I am the system administrator of a freemail system. OpenLdap is used as user authentication in our system, and Solaris 5.7 is running on our ldap server. Recently there has been many warnings on our ldap server when I used "dmesg" to check system status, that are:
    slapd[199]: warning: cannot open /etc/hosts.allow:Error 0
    slapd[199]: warning: cannot open /etc/hosts.deny: Error 0
Since the round_the_clock writing of this message makes our ldap server very busy these days and is stuffing disk space, I am very anxious to know what is the reason of this warning. I am not very familiar with ldap, I wish you could help me fixing this problem soon. Thank you very much!
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon!

                                                                    Yours Sincerely
                                                                        June
