Hello

I finally had some time to incorporate most of the fixes, and get back-sql to
some
state, which is (IMHO) worth adding to CVS repository to make further
development
easier. I also wrote more or less clear documentation on its purpose, concepts
and
installation procedures (maybe I should post it to maillist for discussion?..)

see
ftp://samovaar.dot.ru/pub/openldap-sql/
and README there. If it turns out that I have forgotten to put something
important
there - please mail.

I currently tested it on Win32 with MS SQL server, Access etc through several
different
drivers, and on Linux with mySQL, MS SQL server on different host etc (see
DOCS),
anybody should be able to build it on these platforms without big troubles.
Several other successfull tests were reported, but I'm still not shure whether
I
incorporated all fixes needed for them.
If someone comes across any problems trying it - please mail me, I'll gladly
try
to help, because I'm extremely interested to make it as portable as I can.

Please review it, and reply about its status relative to OpenLDAP

WBW, Dmitry
