I've noticed several issues submitted involving the Administrator's Guide. What
I want to know is, does this exist? While it's all good and well to point
someone to
a general guide/info on LDAP (like the RFC's). What I need (and I'm sure others
would agree) is the specifics about THIS implementation of ldap (how the
configurations work, how to set it up as a referral vs. completely standalone,
etc).

It appears that the generic config sets slapd up as a referral to some other
ldap server rather than truly standalone. I need the administrator's manual to
be able to fully understand how to configure this implementation to do what I'm
wanting it to do. If anyone has the manual for the OpenLDAP implementation and
could pass it onto me, I'd greatly appreciate it. As for now, I've been having
to dissect the test
suite to find out what it's doing to test the servers.

Thanks.
