(Answer) (Category) OpenLDAP Faq-O-Matic : (Category) Trash : (Answer) SOLARIS 8: slapd cannot find ELF
I compiled OpenLDAP 2.1.19 on a Solaris machine with gcc 3.2.2
I can run slapd successfully from the directory where it was compiled (and "make test" reports no problems) but after running "make install" and trying to start using "/usr/local/openldap/2.1.19/libexec/slapd" I get the error:
slapd: Cannot find ELF Killed
