	I would like to install the LDAP service on Linux, will any body tell which is better and is C, Java, PERL SDKs are same for openldap and netscape ldap server? I would be thankfull for any help -SubbaReddy
	Hello, I'm trying the same thing with OpenLDAP and Netscape SDK using Java. It looks like it will work, but I'm having trouble setting up the slapd.conf file. When running the Add.java example found in the Netscape SDK, I get the following error on the ld.Authenication command: Error: netscape.ldap.LDAPException: error result (49); Invalid credentials Have you even installed it and tried running the examples? A way to test to see if it was installed properly is to run the following command in the tools subdir of the Netscape SDK installation: java LDAPSearch -x -b '' -s base '(objectclass=*)' namingContexts Send me an email if you want more info.
