(Answer) (Category) OpenLDAP Faq-O-Matic : (Category) Trash : (Answer) What changes if the domain contains another portion, like foobar.com.br?
According with the http://www.cis.ohio-state.edu/rfc/rfc2247.txt - "Using Domains in LDAP/X.500 Distinguished Names", a domain name, like "CS.UCL.AC.UK", can be transformed into
DC=CS,DC=UCL,DC=AC,DC=UK
when creating the DN.
In the same manner, if the domain is "foobar.com.br", the DN will be:
dn: dc=foobar,dc=com,dc=br
