Hi, other check: using sudo strace /usr/sbin/slapindex i found the line:open("/var/lib/ldap/DUMMY", O_WRONLY|O_CREAT|O_TRUNC|O_LARGEFILE, 0666) = -1 EACCES (Permission denied)
