Hi,
I just published new versions of OpenLDAP 2.4.28 RPMs, for CentOS 5
and CentOS 6, see http://ltb-project.org/wiki/download#openldap
They include a new version of init script in which I added two commands:
# service slapd backupconfig
# service slapd restoreconfig
This allows to dump your cn=config, edit it and reload it very quick.
