Hi all, I'm using Buchan's package of openldap2.4.22 x86_64 on RHEL5.3. I'm able to reproduce a crash renaming an entry in my tree. I'm doing this by using phpldapadmin. When I restart the engine I can see the entry with the name changed.
I would suggest you also upgrade to 2.4.23, given that it specifically fixes some issues with modrdn (rename).
