I was testing a subdomain configuration and I wondered: What happened
to the -C switch? And will there be support for following referrals
with credentials?

Debian/Testing:
> $ ldapsearch -h 2>&1| grep "\-C" | wc -l
> 0

> $ ldapsearch -VV
