Hi,
I have OpenLDAP 2.3.27, Redhat 5 package, and it's running out of file
descriptors suddendly. It's works fine a few days, but runs out of FDs
and the the solution is restart.

IIRC, this was fixed in OL 2.3.32 or thereabouts. Moral of the story -- Keep up to date, and don't use the packages shipped by RedHat. RedHat's packages are meant for providing the ldap client libraries, not for running OpenLDAP as a server. If you want to run OpenLDAP as a server, use the pre-compiled packages provided by Symas (<http://www.symas.com>) or Buchan Milne (<http://staff.telkomsa.net/packages/>).
