Yes, in the slapd.conf(5) man page.


       tool-threads <integer>
              Specify  the maximum number of threads to use in tool mode.
This should not be greater than the number of CPUs in the system.  The
default
              is 1.


Ah, I was looking at the man pages online.  I found it in cvs and on my server.
(www is from  2005/06/10, which is after the commit of that line on 2005/10/28)
