Hi.

According to the docs and the FAQ-O-Matic
(http://www.openldap.org/faq/data/cache/371.html), replication seems
straightforward. However, I'm unable to get it working.

â Change slapd.conf to list the new slave.
â Done added replica directive on master

â Stop slurpd and manually edit slurpd.status, copying the line of
and existing slave, changing the name to match the new slave.
    â Where is slurpd.status?

â Stop slapd on an existing slave. Copy the database to the new
slave. Start slapd on both slaves.
â Restart slapd on the master.
  â Restart slurpd.
    â Master = Slapd 2.2.26-4
    â Slave = Slapd 2.2.23-8

You don't really provide any useful information along the lines of errors, so it is rather hard to help you. Nor is there anything about what DN's are used, etc, for replication. So still very hard to help you.

OpenLDAP 2.2 is a historic release. It is advised that you upgrade to a modern, supported release of OpenLDAP (2.3.27+). Not necessary to solve your problem, but it will help you avoid other issues. In any case, it is impossible to help you without more detailed information.
