component matching in 2.3.*

Hi,
what is the current status of component matching?

The release announcement for 2.3.24 lists
            - LDAP Component Matching (requires OpenLDAP snacc)
as a major enhancement. However, LDAP_COMP_MATCH is only defined in 
servers/slapd/slap.h if LDAP_DEVEL has been defined beforehand and then 
there is ITS 4112.
