I think any patch is welcome and will be integrated in OpenLDAP,
provided it complies with the OpenLDAP license and based on time and
resources by team members.

Feel free to submit it via the ITS, and make sure you comply with
indications at <http://www.openldap.org/devel/contributing.html> to
speed up integration process.  Of course, patches should be made for the
most recent HEAD code.
