SQL backend question

Hello,

i have a question about a sql backend setup. There's one master ldap 
directory with a sql (postgres) backend and several slave ldap dir's 
with a native (bdb?) backend.
If I make changes to the backend sql database will the master ldap dir 
recognize this and replicate those changes to the slaves?
