Is it safe to make the database directory of a glued BDB/HDB/LDBM database a subdirectory of its superior database's directory? E.g. BDB doesn't get clever and merge info from the superior's DB_CONFIG file or something?
BDB doesn't look into subdirectories unless you tell it to.
