How do I use aliases in openldap?

Is it possible to link an attribute in "uid=hamnis,ou=people,dc=example,dc=com" to "roleID=1,ou=roles,dc=example,dc=com" ?

Is it also possible to link several attributes to another object?

If there are any good guides out there, please point me in the right direction.

BTW: im using openldap 2.2.23
