Not a good idea to turn off schema checking; 2.0 allowed all sorts of 
things that will bite you with 2.2, so it's worth taking the trouble to 
clean up the data.  I wrote a Perl script (on www.horsfall.org/rdnchk) 
that will help, but note that it's rather customised.

And does the entry already exist?
