Hi all,

so after having stepped on enough toes for one day, now a true openldap
question.

You don't need back-meta or any other proxy (unless rewriting the naming
context is required (1)); just stack the slapo-pcache(5) overlay on top of
back-sql. It should work straightforwardly (tested few weeks ago).

it does.

(1) in this case, I suggest you play with HEAD code and try out back-relay
with the slapo-rwm(5) overlay.

ok. Well, I was just trying to go off the HEAD track and onto release for a production environment.

overlay proxycache
        proxycache ldbm 100000 1 1000 100
        proxyAttrset 0 uid uidNumber objectClass
        proxyTemplate (uid=?) 0 3600
        proxyTemplate (objectClass=?) 0 3600
        proxyTemplate (uidNumber=?) 0 3600
        directory /usr/local/etc/openldap/db

Ok, some more fiddeling, this whitespace waskilling the server (or worse, gettinging it in a loop).

Thanks.
