BINDPW isn't an OpenLDAP ldap.conf(5) directive.
You are likely confusing OpenLDAP's ldap.conf(5)
with something else.

See OpenLDAP's ldap.conf(5) for details on SASL
directives (none are required for Kerberos V
authentication).
