I have entered 'loglevel -1' in
/etc/openldap/slapd.conf and then entered 

local4.*                 /var/log/slapd.conf

in /etc/syslog.conf and restarted syslog and slapd,
but there I don't see anything in the log file. I have
also tried 'loglevel 256'. Still nothing!

what am I doing wrong?
