hello mailinglist,

i'am doing some perfomance tests on my openldapserver
with j-meter.

i'm running openldap-2.1.29 with bdb-4.2.52 on a sparc ultra5

the search filter i'am using is uid=*
but the server hangs after responding 423 times
this is the last message it returns after starting it with -d -1

====> bdb_cache_return_entry_r( 703 ): returned (0)
send_search_result: err=4 matched="" text=""
send_ldap_response: msgid=2 tag=101 err=4
my question is:
what does err=4 meaning?
is there some refference for this numerical errormessages?

thanks in advance

Error 4 is LDAP_SIZELIMIT_EXCEEDED !
