schemacheck off deprecated?

I've still running an openldap-2.1.29 with "schemacheck off" -- I known that
this is a dirty hack.

The "schemacheck" is not documented in the slapd.conf manpage.
In the ITS database I found the closed bug ITS#1672
(http://www.openldap.org/its/index.cgi/Documentation?id=1672)

Does this mean that the schemacheck switch will be disabled/removed in
future releases?
