migrating from 2.0 to 2.1

Hi,

The situation is this:

I have a server running 2.0.27 and another server running 2.1.26. The
first server needs to be relieved of ldap-duty so I want to move the
directory from 2.0 to the new server running 2.1.
I have copied all schemas and worked out the problems with the more
stricter 2.1 servers syntax and it now seems to work.

I have done a dump of the directory on the 2.0 server using slapcat and
am trying to add the resulting ldif on the 2.1 server with slapadd.
The problem is then that we have entries using danish characters, which
makes slapcat encode them so they look like this:

dn:: Y249SvhyZ2VuIEphbmdtYXJrLG91PWhsLG91PXBlcnNvbmFsX2FkZHJlc3Nib29rcyxvdT1hZ
 GRyZXNzYm9va3MsZGM9ZHNsLGRjPWRr
cn:: SsO4cmdlbiBKYW5nbWFyaw==

The real cn is Jørgen Jangmark

When I try to import the ldif with slapadd it gives this error:

slapadd: could not parse entry (line=528)

If I remove that entry or change the entry to not contain danish
characters it goes through to the next entry with danish characters and
stops there.

It must be a unicode/iso-8859-1 problem, but how to fix this?

Is there another way to replicate the data to the new server that works
with danish characters?
