Re: ldap problem



Hi

The -D option is used to specify the root dn (cn=Manager etc in your
case). I notice that the file you are using has a txt type, make siure
that it is in a standard ldif format or your addition will fail. Use this
command to add the entry (I'm assuming a simple bind):
ldapadd -x -D "cn=Manager,dc=linux,dc=lin" -W -f /tmp/test.ldif
