My understanding of posixaccount is
MUST

cn, uid, uidNumber, gidNumber, homeDirectory
MAY

userPassword, loginShell, gecos, description

cn is the full name of the person.

We of course are completely under FERPA (and HIPPA) as well. We found no FERPA related issues in exposing posixAccount. Can you tell me what you found as being a FERPA issue?
