Object linking/extending

Is it possible to have some information from one object, and the rest from
another.  Logically:
                                                                                                
uid=foo, o=People, o=general
cn=John Hodrien
sn=Hodrien
                                                                                                
uid=foo, o=People, o=LinuxUsers
userPassword=foo
                                                                                                
and link those objects such that the attributes from the first object are
pulled across to the second object on a query?  Or can you point me in a
direction that I should look into as an alternative?
