correct format for hosts (special cases)?

multihomed hosts can be a problem when migrating from NIS. I am working
on a solution at the moment but I need some advice on the standard.

when parsing the flat files:
hostname shows up more than once with different ip numbers:
- should this a comma seperated list in iphostnumber or multiple
iphostnumber entries?

ip address shows up more than once with diffent hostname:
- should these be listed as extra cn in a single entry or added as extra
entries?
- does it matter?
